Between sculpture and painting...

Something completely new for me, that began in Denver and has carried on in Arizona, are mixed media pieces.

The works on wood are painted, sanded back into and often repainted. The process involves both additive and subtractive techniques.

The mixed media works represent something between sculpture and painting that is quite new and exciting for me.
