Thirty three artists from the Western region around and within Péry took part. It was a surprisingly international show with folks from Eastern Europe, Germany, France and even one yank. I had a great time talking with a few artists especially French artist Blandine Vonrospach (bvonrospach@bluewin.ch), Swiss artist Agnčs Laribi-Frossard (www.agneslaribifrossard.ch) and German ceramic artist Aribert Hannappel. The show has been in action for over thirty years headed up by the ever wonderful Raymond Salzman.

So I would like to feature a few examples of the work I enjoyed.

| Three beautiful works from Corinne Glauser, Sonceboz |
| Agnès Laribi-Frossard, Savagnier - made from natural pigments she gathered in the south of France |
| Miroslaw Halaba, Lyss |
| Gold leafed and rich ochre works from Beatrice Mansour, Biel/Bienne |
| Annamarie Conrads, Lengnau |
| And my favorite works from the show were from Christine Guillaume, Lyss |

Aribert Hannappel is one of those rare thoughtful and energetic persons that personifies all that is good about art. His works are whimsical and pleasing at times mysterious and iconic. I truly feel lucky to have chatted with him and hope visit with him again soon being that he has his studio and gallery in the town of Péry.
If you are in the neighborhood make sure to stop by Galerie Pot-Ari at Rue de la Colline 5 CH 2603 Péry
Give him a call to make sure he is there and not hiking, kayaking, playing, with his grand kids, or in the middle of a raku out back.
