Jonathan will take part in the 2009 Chianciano Biennale to be held at the Museum of Art Chianciano Terme in the beautiful Italian region of Tuscany. This show will mark Jonathan’s first museum exhibit and his first in Italy.
The show will take place from the 13th to the 27th of September.

The Biennale is being organized in collaboration with the Gagliardi Gallery of London, a gallery with 30 years of experience in promoting contemporary artists on the international market. They have organized exhibitions in museums such as the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Lord Leighton Museum in London. The Museum is investing considerable care and planning into the exhibition. The Biennale will be an artistic event of notable quality, a challenging competition for established artists and an opportunity for the launch of emerging talent into the future. The extensive advertising of the Biennale will include full page adverts in magazines such as Saatchi Gallery Magazine, ( Current issue, 100.000 copies) The Victoria and Albert Museum Magazine, Flash Art, Arte (Italy’s best art magazine, February issue), The British Museum Magazine (Spring Issue), The Art Newspaper, Art and other national art magazines and media across the world.

In the last days of Sanchez Art Werk in Biel (Switzerland) numerous works found new homes. The remaining pieces are now residing in Denver (Colorado, USA) were Jonathan lives. After five years of residence in Switzerland, shows in four countries, many sales, and quite a few shows throughout Switzerland it was decided that it was time to return to the United States. As a result Sanchez Art Werk will continue on in Denver Colorado.
