POP-UP Gallery
July 2010
We now have a new space in Scottsdale. Come visit us at:

POP-UP Gallery
4200 N. Mashall Way
Suite 4
Scottsdale, Arizona

Originally, we wanted to call the Gallery "Marshall Arts" (get it? With some Ninja swords and samurai sushi), but unfortunately the name was already taken (and they didn't even get it or run with it!).

Since this is a major venue for Sanchez Art Werk, we created a new section on the website dedicated to it. POP-UP Gallery. In that section, we will keep you up-to-date with the latest news and events in Scottsdales POP-UP Gallery neighborhood.

As always, this Sanchez Art Werk production features the unique eye, style, and graphic arts talents of Regula Sánchez. The oft unsung mastermind behind all that Sanchez Art Werk does. Hahahaha!

Return to the Southwest
August 2009
Having recently returned from five years in Switzerland I am settling in and present the Capelli show as my first effort in the States in some time. Having been away for so long I feel I am seeing the Southwest anew.
The paintings therefore are expressions and impressions on the Southwest its landscapes and colors. The Swiss works presented fit into this show as they were sort of my longing to see the west again, a kind of homesickness perhaps. These works represent a break in my Expressionist dabblings that consumed me while in Switzerland (Marc, mostly) and were a leap which I continue to explore in the new Denver works.
While away I was fortunate enough to travel through out Europe and exhibit in five different countries, meeting many wonderful people, and seeing incredible things that will return to me later and inform my art. As of this moment these fresh 2010 works are the grand vistas of Utah and Arizona, New Mexico and of course Colorado.
