Johnny and Reg – acoustic duo
The Music Journey
Johnny & Reg grew from late-night jam sessions and a shared love of funky, soulful music. Their sound drifts through blue notes and grooves, equal parts raw and refined. It carries the dust of back roads and the glow of late-night campfires — acoustic wanderers moving from town to town with a suitcase of blues, jazz-tinged melodies, and stories gathered along the way. The sound leans into raw wood and warm strings, equal parts grit and grace, always shaped by the places they pass through. Eclectic, earthy, and effortlessly heartfelt.
With tight harmonies, weathered rhythms, and a laid-back charm, they bring a rich, rootsy energy to any setting — from intimate wine bars and BBQ joints to lively blues and art festivals.

Selected repertoire
Mostly original songs, Delta-inspired covers — typical set: 1-4 hours (flexible).
They hauled their instruments into a log cabin in the Oregon woods and turned it into a temporary recording space. Blankets became makeshift sound baffles, mics placed behind sound shields, and rough-cut logs letting in the mountain heat. The rustic setting shaped the music: slightly folky, swampy, and rooted in the room’s natural acoustics.
No overdubs, no studio shine — just two acoustic vagabonds capturing what happens when they hang out together. The album pulls you into that world: stepping onto the deck between takes, settling into the loft at night, and then back inside as the music settles into wood, wind, and wilderness — echoes of saloons by the highway, sea-sprayed taverns, and overlooked venues where they’ve played from coast to coast.
